The Ruby Valley trek connects the Langtang region with the Manaslu region. This off-beaten trek takes you on steep mountain trails through the Himalayan hills. You regularly pass by local villages, and the mountain of the Ganesh mountain range is beautiful.

The Ruby Valley trek starts with a comfortable jeep drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. This Is the local hub for numerous treks in the surrounding areas. Nearby Gatlang you start hiking the Ruby Valley trek to the holy lake of Parvati Kunda. A small tranquil lake is part of a district with 109 religious ponds and lakes. There is a lovely homestay nearby. The following days you visit the local village Somdang and will stay in a teahouse right at the Pangsang La pass. With clear weather, you will enjoy great views of Ganesh and Manaslu right through your bedroom window! After the pass, you hike through several rural villages. Farmers are working their fields while you pass by. From Khading you will head on a new trail crossing the remote Tham Bhanjyang pass. You have now arrived in the Tsum region. It’s slowly descending to Soti Khola where your Ruby Valley trek ends. A private jeep will take you back to Kathmandu.
