Home Annapurna & Mustang Sikles Trek
The Sikles Trek is an undiscovered home stay trek in the Annapurna region near Pokhara. Notably, the village is famous for its brave Gurkha soldiers. Along the way, you hike through a rhododendron forest, enjoying great Annapurna mountain vistas. In the local villages, you will spend the night at several homestays. As a result, it gives you a chance to get a glimpse into the lives of local farmers in Nepal.
First, you drive from Pokhara to Lamo Khet, which is the starting point of the homestay trek. Your first stop, Ghale Goan is a beautiful village settled on a mountain slope. With a packed lunch, you continue the trek to the village of Sikles. During the trek, you are treated to stunning mountain views of the Annapurna, especially Lamjung Mountain, which is nearby. Additionally, a short hike to a viewpoint nearby should not be missed. In the following days, you pass by rural farmer villages and hike comfortably to Bijayapur. Finally ,the Sikles trek ends in this village, from where a comfortable taxi drive will take you back to Pokhara.

Day 1: Arrival Nepal; pick up at the international airport and drop off at a hotel in Thamel Kathmandu
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 hrs.)
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Lamo Khet (1680 m – 1,30 hrs.) and trek to Gale Gaon (2104 m – 3 hrs)
Day 4: Trek to Lali Kharka (1600 m – 6 hrs.)
Day 5: Trek to Sikles (1980 m – 5,5 hrs.)
Day 6: Trek to Lamo Bagar (1546 – 5 hrs.)
Day 7: Trek to Kalikasthan (1370 m – 6 hrs.)
Day 8: Trek to Bijayapur (800 m – 2 hrs.) and drive to Pokhara ( 1,30 hrs.)
Day 9: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (6 hrs.)
Day 10: Free day at leisure in Kathmandu
Day 11: Departure; pick up from the hotel and drop off at the international airport
During the trekking season, prices may rise. The final price depends on the trekking season, group size and the cost of local transfers.
Cost includes:

– 3 nights in a hotel room in Kathmandu; breakfast included
– 2 nights in a hotel room in Pokhara; breakfast included
– Teahouse room during trek
– Return drive by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara; private transport to the start and from the end of the trek
– Licensed and certified mountain guide. Well experienced and English speaking
– Porter service for carrying luggage; 10 kg per person
– Salary, food, accommodation and insurance for the mountain guide and porters
