Payment modes

A 25% deposit of the total tour cost is to be paid per booking per person. The booking deposit can be made by bank transfer, Western Union, IME, Moneygram, WorldRemit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). For European customers, it is possible to pay the deposit to a European bank account. Please inquire about the details. Be informed that your deposit by credit card or debit card will deduct a 4,5% bank service charge. Payments in rupee will not be accepted by us.

The remaining amount must be paid before your arrival to Nepal or upon your arrival in Kathmandu, before your tour departure.

In Nepal you can pay the remaining amount preferably in cash US dollar or Euro or agreed currency; no payments in rupee. With credit cards only ATM cash withdrawals are possible.

In the case of tailor-made tours, or expeditions, you may require a higher deposit or full payment during booking. In such cases, you will be advised by Sherpa Heritage Trails of the amount to be paid.

ATM machines are available in many places around Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and in Lukla. You will also easily get money at exchange centres. They also accept your credit cards.
