The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake is a famous trek in Nepal. You trek around the mighty Annapurnas and visit Tilicho Lake. A remote lake located at an altitude of 4919 meters. You start in subtropical climate, visit the mountain lake and cross the high Thorung La pass with an altitude of 5416 meters.

Before you can start the Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake trek you have drive by tourist bus first to Besisahar, and second by jeep to Dharapani. From here on your trek through local forests and pass by farmer villages. You follow the Marsyangdi river all the way to, eventually, Tilicho Lake. First you will enjoy a resting day at Manang. An optional day hike to a local monastery up the hill will help with the acclimatization. Within a few days you will reach Tilicho Lake. The views around this high located lake and its surrounding area are mighty impressive. After that you will continue your round Annapurna trek towards the high pass of Thorung La. Again you will be treated with stunning views from the high pass. A long descent takes you to Muktinath. This site is holy for both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. The Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho lake trek continues to Jomsom for a flight to Pokhara.

Day 05                  Resting day at Manang for acclimatization. Optional day hike to the local monastery
Day 06                  Trek to Shree Kharka (4000 m – 5 hrs.)
Day 07                  Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4150 m – 4 hrs.)
Day 08                  Day hike to Tilicho Lake (4920 m); overnight at Tilicho Base Camp (5 hrs.)
Day 09                  Trek to Yak kharka (4018 m – 7 hrs.)
Day 10                  Trek to Thorung phedi (4450 m – 4 hrs.)
Day 11                  Trek to Thorung High camp (4833 – 3 hrs.)
Day 12                  Cross over Thorung La Pass (5416 m) overnight at Muktinath (3800m – 9 hrs)
Day 13                  Trek to Jomsom via Lupra valley (2710 m – 6 hrs.)
Day 14                  Flight Jomsom to Pokhara ( 45 min.)
Day 15                  Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus
